Download & Save menu item

Post by MrEman »

Looks like Download & Save (Auto) got removed from the top layer of the Right mouse click menu? (when looking @ new headers)

A couple versions ago?

I would love to see it back on the top layer of the menu for easy access.

As it is now I have to go 3 or 4 menu's deep before I can choose it with a priority level?

Unless I have missed something? (Has happened before)

There was a setting added to hide the Auto options some versions ago. In the previous couple or so maybe the defaults have changed for this (I think there were reports of users downloading via Auto and 'losing' their files). The setting is Properties->Articles->Auto download & save->Auto options in advanced submenu. However, after trying this both ways (checked and unchecked) I see no change in the context menu at all. The Auto options stay in the same menu regardless.

You can try yours and see if it's the same and report back.

no it appears working.

when checked you see in the main context menu:

Download&save attachments
Save attachments
---------------------------------
Delete bodies

when unchecked you see additional two (auto) options

Download&save attachments
Save attachments
---------------------------------
Download&save attachments (auto)
Save attachments (auto)
---------------------------------
Delete bodies

Now that I look closer I see it is working as advertised. For some reason I must have had the thought that it moved the entire Auto submenu up one level. Was it there originally in the first level of the context menu? I seem to remember it that way. I wasn't looking just for those two items.
