can I remove the .nzb "extension" on auto folders?

Post by acrophile »

Hi... I figured out how to remove the prefix from my save folders, but I'd also like to get rid of the ".nzb" at the end of the folder name. Is this possible? I couldn't find anything out from searching these forums and if it's already in the GUI, I completely overlooked it.

Thanks!

all related options can be found in edit menu->properties->articles->auto download&save.

if something is missing try to clarify it (with some justification) - so i could check it out.

Thanks for your reply. I don't see any applicable option for what I'm trying to do.

Here's what happens... I launch an nzb file and UE is set to automatically download and save it to an automatically-named folder...

So say I'm downloading something called "Foo" it saves it to a folder called "Foo.nzb".

Does that make sense?

When all is automatic the purpose is to create an unique folder name so one can find the download, so then it is based on the name of the nzb file. Currently there is no further customization except for the "prepend view name" and "as subdir".

If you want something else you can invoke import menu->download&save instead of import menu->download&save (auto), then you can edit the folder name.

If you import nzb by doubleclicking you can achieve that by unchecking "edit menu->properties->import/search, Auto - folder out of nzb name", the check box is enabled (relevant) only if "import&download&save" is selected in the combo box above the check box since otherwise there is no save folder needed.
