My database retention is set to Natural because I don't understand the retention options and because of that it is reaching critical limits.

The list of options seem really weird to me:
Natural
7
36h
10-20
1h-1h
etc.

I can't make heads or tails from what that's supposed to mean. All I want is to be able to say something like "keep the headers for the last 100 days" or something like that.

p.s. Even with the rention set to Natural, is there any way to purge the deleted headers? I DID delete them for a reason, I want them gone!

If you want to "keep the headers for the last 100 days" just put in 100 as the retention setting.

To get more info about the "Retention" setting and the related "Headers per server" setting, look in the UE.TXT file that is placed in the same place as UEs exe, in the section "Newsgroup headers per server/retention"

To purge deleted headers right-click within a newsgroupview and choose "advanced->Purge deleted headers".

The first time I looked at the retention settings I thought that I needed some more alternatives, and some time later it hit me that I could just type in what I wanted
