Date Column - how to set back to hours and days?

In older versions the age of articles was shown as hours and days. This was also in the search function. I found it much easier to quickly check if a retrieval would be possible (eg, 30 days old - no problem). Now it shows the date. Is it possible to show the age as minutes, hours and days again?

File->Default toolbar->Show dates / age.

actually edit menu->show date/age
defaults didn't change, if you always use age (default) you can remove the switch date/age button from the toolbar (right mouse button->customize), maybe you accidentally clicked it.

Well I blame tiredness when I was replying but it did the job anyway. Actually most of the useful buttons tend to be in that menu anyway so it's never a bad place to look first.
