I'm not getting any downloads between 22H and 20D. The little green light/dot next to the newsgroup/server does not shut off. I tried adding UE and Port 81 to go through the firewall. Still no fix - need help. Thanks

check console pane in tasks menu->task manager, maybe you see timeout errors?

if you see other downloads going ok - try to contact server support, maybe they have problems on their side.

Maybe I didn't state my issue properly. I can download to my comp and do not have any issues the Task Mgr, Console. I do not recieve any downloads from the server between 23H and 20D. Yes, Easynews may be the problem but UE has had so many updates recently, I thought I should check on the most recent changes first.

if you don't get any downloads, you should see at least some mishaps in console window.

as to updates, the development somehow was a bit too intensive, but i wanted to address all issues raised by widespread use of compressed headers since the main question here is the input may be faster than the program processing capability. with v2.5 i think all that was addressed adequately given user feedback, otherwise i wouldn't do two different things in the same time proceeding with extending search service retention.

green dot i don't understand it means you launched header tasks and they are running, not clear what is connection to downloads.

there is another thread mentioning easynews, maybe it is the same issue?

are you using SSL server?

i contacted easynews, but better you contact them as well, i don't have easynews account.
