Is anyone else experiencing a massive slowdown on other internet activities like firefox, IE and whatever else when UE is downloading at top speed?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining . I would just like to be able to browse the internet while running UE.

I'm currently using version 2.4.8. on Vista x64

Any help is greatly appreciated TIA

you can limit bandwidth to leave some space for other programs edit menu->properties->tasks, bandwidth, limit bandwidth to.

alternatively you can set pause bandwidth in the same properties area, then you can use tasks menu->pause/slow down network tasks -> x min or all time during the running session until unchecked, or use corresponding button on the toolbar.
