Can't get auto unrar working

Hello,
I recently had to re-install XP and UE as well since I lost a complete disk with the OS and the Programs Files folder.
Now UE is working fine except that I cannot get auto unrar to work. I have in my opinion all the settings in the Save/Unpack tab as they should be. What am I missing?

In your screenshot the "Unrar" options isn't selected

no, it doesn't matter, it will unrar in place instead of subdirectory.
what is the download status in task manager -> unpack tab? usually all is reflected there.

The Unpack Options are as in the attachment: I think they are what was to be expected.

Alex,
OK, I read your post carelessly: I thought you meant the Unpack menu item. Looking at the Task Manager Unpack tab, it seems to be OK after all. A difficulty I have to cope with is the sloppy posting with several 'fixed' posts added. So the result is untidy. I was also in error thinking that the rar files would be deleted as soon as a successful unpacking operation has been finished. No problem. Auto-Unpacking works.
