I re-registered usenet explorer, after having used other programs to download from usenet. But I concluded that nothing can beat UE. The other programs only can use nzb files for example.....
My former name was "Bassie" on UE.

I just wondered this thing now.

When for example right-click on a.b.boneless newsgroup, and requesting for new headers, it asks for an nzb file. I remember from long time ago the program would just get the new headers.

What could be wrong?

This seems like a one time error.

I deleted a.b.boneless and remade it. But i made sure it was alt.binaries.boneless in stead of a.b.boneless

Now it does download the headers.

Ok, problem solved.

Maybe you created it by mistake as an "Import" type of group, when you invoke "get headers" it will ask for nzb then, an import group can have any name, but you can see the difference by icon or in group properties.
