Uncompress Error while Open and Rescan Newsgroup list

I switched to EasyNews and wanted to do a rescan of the newsgroup lists when I got this error.
The connection is ok, I can download and upload through the connection.

I created a new database, but I get the same error.
I have no problems downloading headers from groups with this new database, so almost everything works fine.

I use v4.4 (64 bit) on Win7x64

I downloaded the 32 bit version and got the same result.

I connect to
secure-us.news.easynews.com with SSL on port 119 and
secure-eu.news.easynews.com with SSL on port 119.
I tried port 443 with same result.

Both works fine for downloads.

Any ideas?

Uncheck both compressed header methods in edit menu->properties->general, servers, compressed headers, then try rescan again.

You might get some other more clear error message then, maybe some bug on their side when a command fails.
