I downloaded an NFO, or at least read it and it was removed from my headers list since I downloaded it. Well I need it again, I cannot find it. How can I get it back on my Headers list so I can redownload it?

So I guess my question is: When I download a file and it is removed from my headers, how do I get that file back up to download again?

if the header has been deleted from the server you cannot do anything (ask a user who has access to a server with higher retention).

if you set retention for the newsgroup in newspro and the header is likely to be on the server - you can temporarily make the retention natural or if you remember the header - create a search (xpat) group and look for the header (you can just look for 'nfo'), it will be faster than to download all headers.

if you deleted the header yourself (or it was deleted after you saved the attachment) - invoke edit menu->show deleted headers, then select it and invoke 'undelete headers', then download it again.

I sometimes used the reset newsgroup function !!!!!
Download all headers again and you will have the deleted/purged
headers back !!!!!
