I've had a quick look for the answer to this question, but haven't been able to find, so here is the question...

I'm using 3.71, and have two newsfeed servers - my ISP's (here in referred to as ISPSRV) which is free of charge (with a 3 day binary retention, fairly good at have most all parts of a given multipart post and a maximum of 3 concurrent connections) and a paid newsfeed server (herein referred to as PAIDSRV) (with a 30 day binary retention, very few missing parts to multipart posts, and a maximum of 10 concurrent connections).

What I want to do is have 3.71 download all of my selected articles from the ISPSRV, and only download the missing pieces from the PAIDSRV.

On my server properties, I've set ISPSRV to 3 max connections, priority of 1, strict, and a retention of 1 to 3. For the PAIDSRV, I've set it as 10 max connections, priority of 20, and a retention of 1 to 5.

Now, when I selected an multipart post to download, and watch my task window, I can see that the multiparts are being pulled from both servers, not just the ISPSRV. Further, using Forte's Agent, I can tell that all the parts are infact available for the posts in question on the ISPSRV.

So, what am I doing wrong?

Try setting the ISPSRV to priority 20 and PAYSRV to a lower priority. The server with highest priority is used first, so you got the wrong order.
