Will it be posible to see the filesize in a future version instead of the number of lines (or can it been choosen to enable it). As far as I know the current version doesn't show the filesize, only the lines.

I wonder how bnr2 does it. If it's not in the subject line, wouldn't it have to pull enough lines from the 1st article body to determine the encoding and line size, etc.?

Well newspro has already buildin such a feature, everyone looks at it from time to time without knowing it.

It's needed to calculate the time left of the body's then you need to know the total download size and speed. So it should be possible to buildin such a feature I guess.

i'm thinking about making file size instead of number of lines an option, but you could have only one at a time with database reset needed in between.

currently adding additional column would result in increasing processor time consumed but just interchange would be ok.

Just cpu time or ram as well? I guess that most people could live with just processor time... And maybe you could make an option for lines only, size only and lines & size for those who can spare a few cycles and don't want to reset their database.
