Was downloading merrily, turned off newspro for an hour while I played CS, started newspro back up, and now all articles are coming up with this error "ERROR 430 NO SUCH ARTICLE" on all 3 of my news providers. Some files are only a day old, so its not like they have gone from server. Is there any reason for this, or am I just an unlucky git ?

try to reset the newsgroup and download headers again.

it is on the condition that server cannot download articles by message-id (which is unusual).

most probably it is a server malfunction, if it doesn't work after newsgroup reset contact server support; if it works - ask them whether their server can download articles by message-id.
