When I download headers from a specific server many articles appear with the date set to the current time. If I download the body and look at the header fields in the body the date appears correct.

Server: news.components4developers.com

To download the newsgroup list I have to turn off Compressed Headers: XZver and XFeature.
Download headers and subscribe to components4developers.public.kbmmw250.fieldtest. Now download all the headers and order by date. You will see that the latest articles all have the current time as the date. Download one of the articles and inspect the headers. You will see that the date is correct.

This happens in many of the newsgroups on this server.

It might be date in xover output returned by the server is incorrect, article bodies contain the original header fields, so you see the actual date.

Try to contact their support, maybe they need to rebuild xover database.
