Hello

Today I tested a new Usenet Server (Free-Usenet) with UE and SABnzbd.

The tests with SABnzbd consists of:
1. test SABnzbd to Server.
2. test a download
Both tests are OK.

The tests with Usenet Explorer are not successful.

First .. I cannot find a key to test/check whether I have entered the right data in UE-properties.

Second .. during a download .. I got this error messages:
Error 482 Authentication rejected (Server)

What have I done wrong?

PS. SABnzbd displays the Password readable. So I can check it.

Hello

I've read that Free-Usenet-server can only be used with "SABnzbd".

Can I use UE instead of SABnzbd though .. if I avoid certain actions with UE?
I will not "browse" Free-Usenet-server.

First I consult UE-Search-Server .. then UE "ask" Free-Usenet-server to give the item.

Otherwise I must ask UE to build a NZB-file .. and export the NZB-file on a disk.
Then must SABnzbd read that NZB-file .. and then SABnzbd ask Free-Usenet-server to give the contents of the NZB-file.

I've test these steps with success.

Is that the only way?
