i got this error :

Abort<server> ...
Error [NewsPro Aborted ('Lines:' misreported, see Properties->Articles): Lines: 5085, Actual lines: 0

i tried redownloading but got the same error
then i disabled the server which gave the error (server with highest priority)

after that the article downloaded from another server without the error

question: why doesn't newspro try another server before aborting ?
(or did i set the wrong option somewhere?)

it is reasonable to suggest that an article on all servers is the same, there is only an exception for yenc errors, in case article source on the server got corrupted. the option is meant just to prevent a certain kind of malicious posts that happened in the past and not to address server errors.

you can make it retriable in properties->general, recoverable errors or remove detection alltogether in properties->articles, abort download...
