Running multiple instances
NewsPro allows only one instance per database, but it is possible to
create several databases and thus run several instances in the same time
(but only one per database). The feature is present only in the registered
version.
You should run the program with a profile name as a parameter, the default
profile is "NewsPro". You can run the program from the command prompt, like
"c:\newspro.exe myprofile" or you can create a shortcut to the executable and
add a profile name to the "target" field.
Keeping several databases (usually each database will contain newsgroups
with common topic to handle crossposting) allows to keep databases smaller,
so all operations will be faster.
When running a program in the system tray - a tooltip will display the name
of the profile for every instance.
