when trying to save to files i get the message:

I get that one too. Install N to another machine or drive/ory, (or create a new database),set up your server info, fetch you group list, fetch headers, locate the one post you need, and download it.
Once you are thru, you can delete the new setup, or keep it until you need it again, and you will.
I have tried deleting the body and redownloading it too and i still get the same problem, that goofy error dialog box doesnt help, pressing Yes or No do that same thing, nothing.
I have also had this problem with a set of posts where the subject line was almost identical, and a post or two would not save, but i could always get the file using the procedures above.
I never had that problem before i had a lot of crashes, and i could probably fix the problem by reinstalling and using new databases, but i have too much unsaved data to do that.
