I'm doing some house cleaning on my computer in preparation for a complete system backup.
When I go to my NewsPro Database folder in My Documents, there are two folders: Temp and Data. Temp is empty, but Data has almost 7,000 items in it totalling over 2.73 gigs! What can I do to clean this out?
I don't want to back up 3 gigs of this data....
Thanks!

How to clean up the database??
Conventional method:
there is database and articles with bodies.
invoke partial menu->delete partials with missing parts in all groups.
then invoke edit menu->global message filter, messages are with bodies, extract, delete all of them (if you don't need them) too.
then if you want empty database invoke file menu->reset database, if you want to keep headers without bodies file menu->optimize database accesses.
Drastic method:
if you don't need anything you can delete all but these files:
http://www.netwu.com/newspro/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9
search patterns will be lost too, if you want to keep them don't delete files starting with the xpat group names.
invoke file menu->reset database afterwards (better to copy these small dat files to some other location, especially reg.dat so you won't delete them accidentally).
