Is it possible to show all active downloads in one windows?
task manager will be redesigned, just i also want to put it as docking window and within current framework it would result in too much overhead (currently it runs in a different thread), so it is planned later. with so many download priority levels it is quite manageable as it stands now.
'mishap' means that newspro will retry the article, 'abort' means that every possible resource has been exhausted.

if you see no tasks it waits until teranews will become available (did you set up download limit?), check in article properties where the part can be located.
if you defined 'strict' higher priority for teranews there is an option to ignore it on exceeding download limit, see properties->general.
newspro doesn't search for servers, it knows where article can be found plus if you defined message-id direct servers it will try to download from there too whether article is in their header list or not.

no such article means no such article
in properties general i meant 'ignore priorities for maxed servers' but if you don't have strict server priorities set it doesn't matter.
try to find this article and press F2 it will show where all parts can be found, so it will be clear why it doesn't retry this particular task and waits.
i'm just tired now, maybe someone will explain it all better.

if they are on the newsfeeds server - the server will be tried.
you don't need to set message-id direct for servers you download headers from, for newsfeeds servers. better keep these options unchecked just some time later you may try to use them when the rest will be clear (for newsfeeds you may set 'message-id direct' for general servers with 'suppress headers', then it will download headers from specialized servers and will use general servers for downloading bodies directly, but again first better run it without these options until all is clear).
