Filter for Deleted Messages

Is there a way to make a filter to show only deleted messages?

I think that filtering for read messages used to include deleted messages, but no longer does.

no such filter, it would make sense only when 'show deleted' is enabled, it is possible to implement, but maybe better to have 'show deleted only'?

Yes, sometimes I just want to see deleted messages only.
