I can't find and option to prevent downloading headers for a server when doing a Xpath search. The 'don't get headers' option does nott work with xpat it seems. Am I doing something wrong or.....
If it doesn't exist maybe you could consider it for a newer version.

Just disable the server in before Xpat, and enable it afterwards.
But what's the point? If that server is the only one having the desired headers, you won't get them.....
You can also perform Xpat on a specific server.
In the Xpat group, rightclick on the server you want to get the headers from, and choose [get new headers] or [rescan headers].

Thanks for the response, but I knew both 'tricks'. The point is that I hoped to be able to do it with a simple setting like 'don't get headerss' and then forget about it all together.
One of mynewsservers xxxx has multiple diablo dreaders which can be accessed directly. So instead of having only two connections (non speedcapped) I can have 4x2=8 connections.... This way I can fully use my 8Mbit ADSL line

. Its a bit silly to perform 4 times a xpat search on the same newsserver.

there is an option 'ignore suppress headers in search groups', probably it is what you want.
