Alex is it possible to make a checkbox in the future for general so we can instruct NEwspro to use a default directory to save attachments in insteath of using evry time the same dialogbox to chose the directory.

in properties->newsgroups uncheck corresponding 'ask' check boxes (if newsgroup save directory is 'default', the topmost "default" entry setting will be used, for such newsgroups you need to uncheck 'ask' for this entry.
