Changes Servers?

I have put two servers on my newspro. I first put on Goliath and later added Nospam. No matter what I try I can' t make Nospam active or current, It just says empty. Can anyone Please tell me the trick to how to override Goliath and make Nospam the active server?

there is no such notion as the active server, the multiple server support is transparent although you can tune many parameters.

you can define server prioirities (e.g. to make a server preferred) and other settings in edit menu->properties->servers, read about them on the home page http://www.usenetopia.com, corresponding topics.

when you invoke download heders for a newsgroup if nospam remains empty it means it doesn't have the newsgroup or it is empty.

Make sure there is no error occurring. Open the Task Manager when you get headers then go to the Errors tab next to the Headers tab. If you have incorrectly typed the server name (spamkiller?) it would give an error, or if you mistyped your login info it could do it also. Many problems could cause the error, so check that pane to find out for sure.

While newsfeeds has had Goliath west down for optimizing Im not getting any headers with newspro even though spamkiller.newsfeeds.com is on my servers with correct name and password. With Xnews when I log on to spamkiller I get all the new headers while nothing comes in on newspro. On my servers list Goliath has a green light on the monitor icon and Spamkiller has no green light icon and it says empty after spamkiller.newsfeeds.com.

Check if you set it to suppress headers and message ID retrieval.
