as it stands now, the only way (that I know of) to clear items in the search history is to clear them all (Edit > Delete History). Would it be possible to clear selective items similar to clearing old URL's in a browser history (highlight the previous entry and delete) ?

Any recommendations on any tool that could track / log this type event / situation? Sysinternals has good tools like ProcExplorer however (to the best of my knowledge) you have to be in front of it watching, real-time.

I'm used to Firefox where I can shift+DEL & the highlighted url will erase from buffer/file. Since that doesn't work, how else? I could manually edit file, if I knew which file it is + location.
