Thanks for the help. I had the newsgroups in a separate folder already and was selecting all the groups inside the folder and using Combine Newsgroups.

Now I realize that if I just open the folder I get the same behaviour and I can set the save folder too. Thanks for the tip!

I notice that the delete key doesn't work when viewing a picture inside the program. The context menu shows that Del is mapped to delete body but pressing the key does nothing.
