Splitting NZB into Rar Sets
Is there a procedure for determining which <file> tags in an NZB file go together to form a complete RAR set? UE can handle this for NZBs that contain multiple RAR sets. There doesn't seem to be a standard notation for "part i of n".

UE command line
Is there a command line interface to UE? I am on Win 10. I cant seem to find any documentation, although some forum posts make reference to a command line interface. I posted in development that I wanted to download only selected files from an NZB, such as .NFO. I wrote a Python program to create se...

Format of cnt.dat file
UPDATE: I don't need this information any more. I found that I can export the headers to an NZB file. Iwrote a Python program to create a small NZB containing just <file> tag for the .rar. Than can be downloaded and inspected to determine the true file name. I can post the Python 3.6 source if its o...

Re: AVAST anti-virus flags UE.EXE
I researched further and this is a false positive from Avast.
URL for discussion (another application, but it works for UE, too).

AVAST anti-virus flags UE.EXE
Avast File System Shield quarantines UE.exe when unzipping, when executing, and when opening a downloaded NZB. I have had malware problems recently and this may be related to the actions taken to clear them up. Avast tells me: Object: UE.EXE Infection: FileRepMetagen(DRP) Proces: Explorer.EXE It the...

Re: Skipping old headers
Thanks Alex. I tried setting the number of headers trick and everything is caught up. I just had to recognize that the count meant the "most recent" N headers.
I also turned off NNTP scanning in Avast as recommended in other threads.
Thanks for a great program and outstanding support.

Skipping old headers
I use Giganews with 2+ years retention. I stupidly "Reset Header Range" for all my news groups. Some of the binary groups have 500,000,000 headers. I don't want to spend days downloading all those headers to get to the most most recent ones. Is there a way to tell UE to start at some recen...

Vista Program Access Control
I just migrated to a new computer with Vista pre-installed. Every time I start UE I am prompted for authorization. I suspect that this is due to the way UE is installed...simple unzip. I have searched out general discussions of User Access Control, but the consensus seems to be that there isn't much...

Show date column
I've searched the forum and can't find how to show the Date Posted (instead of Age) in the Headers list. Please point me to the right options.
