Unpack feature questions

Great to see that UE get's better every time.

I have some questions about the unpack feature, it does not automatically do it's thing, maybe i am doing something wrong :

- I search for what i want with the search function
- I select the files and right click and select "download and save attachements"
- Everything downloads and the files end up in the task manager windows under "Unpack"

There i have to manually select "unrar", i thought this is to be automatically done ? All options for the unpack feature are on the default.

UE needs a .par2 file to verify the files before it automatically unrars, did you download any .par2 files?

Ok thanks, that explains it. I always download just the .rar files as most of the time the download is fine.

you can also uncheck properties->save/unpack, require par2 verivication, auto unrar.

if par2 present it will still verify, if no par2 present at the moment you downloaded all data files it will launch the (third party but integrated into ue process address space) unrar code, which probably can handle most cases of corrupted files without corrupting ue process memory.
