Over the years, I've had UE unrar duplicate copies of a file many times. Today, it was also doing something else others have mentioned in other threads. It kept unraring a file as it was downloading and then reporting that there was a volume missing. When it finally collected all the parts, it completed the unrar and marked the file as "unrared" in the task manager frame but then started "repairing" the par2 file. When it finished that, it unrared the set again, producing a duplicate.
I've never actually watched this process before, but I don't think it is the usual way that the files get duplicated. But something weird is going on.
In any event, I don't want to divert attention away from my core question, which I've meant to ask about for several years, about why UE occasionally unrars a file twice.
UE often unrars two copies of a file

If you can give me an example I could check it out, if I see something wrong it can be fixed.

I've had this happen too, quite often.
I'll also pay attention to what nzb does this and report it here.

Just let me know, so I could reproduce it.
