Recovering Purged Headers

Hi,

I'm using latest 3.73 and trying to recover some purged headers.
The headers were purged because I have purged enable and the files have been sucessfully downloaded once.

I've tried to rescan newsground and enable "Show Deleted Headers" and they are still not showing up.

Am I doing this wrong? Or is there something else I need to enable for the downloaded and purged headers to show back up?

would a rescan headers redownload them for you?

You will have to delete the group, remake it, then get the headers all over again.
You can't recover purged headers, they're gone for allways.

Or start a new profile with a clean database, then import the headers from a NZB file.

Instead of deleting the group, wouldn't resetting it work as well?

you need to disable purging for the newsgroup first.

then you invoke rescan headers, not just get new headers.

and finally you use edit menu->show deleted headers, undelete desired headers through the context menu.

for the import group all the same, just instead of rescan headers you import the headers again.
