Export Headers: Names are cut off?

Post by Falk »

I tried to export some headers with the export function. Everything works fine so far, but the names are cut off for some reason if the subject line is too long. Is there any solution for this?

how are they cut off? you should see in the .nzb files exactly the same subject as in newspro (just you may see few xml control characters are replaced with &#number; control sequence), open .nzb in notepad to see whether it is the case. or email me some example, i don't see where it could happen.

Here is an example of what I mean. All the names are cut off at that position.

you mean the file name of .nzb, i thought you talked about subjects inside the .nzb

it is done to shorten the file name. the longest name i could create in windows explorer is 215 characters, now i think newspro cut it to 50 + date or so, i could change it so it will be about the maximal length.

Yes, but why would you?
Don't see the point for having filenames that long........
