Console view

I am missing console view from NP. I there any chance to impement something like this in UE? I use multiple servers and it would be nice to know what the servers are talking to me when I encounter problems. I have to switch to NP today if I want to know. UE is quite a piece of work and I enjoy using it every time. Thanks Alex.

the further implementation sequence is not clear yet, any work consumes time, when i finish with the indexing refinements and upgrades (not so long), i'll look around and think what will be next, right now i cannot think much beyond the current topic. all depends on several factors and considerations, not all purely technical.

It would be nice to come out from darkness and know more of the servers answers, but it can wait.

For now you can look at the last generated error a server gives you by looking at het properties of a failed article.

You could use a program like Ethereal to intercept and analyze the conversation between your computer and the news server.

Thanks guys,
I can see generated error if the error is generated. If it´s end of download ratio for a day I don´t see it there. I can live without console view, no problem. The UE would be more complete with it. It is a great program, anyway, and you can´t get it all in life.
Thanks for the tip Hubert. It feels a bit overkill, for me. I would like to know the conversation but not at any price :-).
I can always start NP if I wanna know.
