Not sure if these are little suggestions:

- View .nfo files directly (same way as with jpg's)
- View .txt files directly (same way as with jpg's)
- Filter separator in the dropdown list
- A bit more space for the filterdropdown list so the filters aren't
truncated.
- Possibility for assigning shortkeys to filters.
- An "only show new headers" initial filter which always works as an AND (&) filter.
- 1 shortkey to clear the quickfilterbar, including removing all text in the textboxes within this bar
- change active tabs withouth the need of using the mouse (jump to left or right tab). So shortkeys for this action.
- when many tabs are opened and some are closed, there alway should be a tab on the left. At this moment no visible tabs may resist, because you have to make them visible by using the tiny arrow buttons. They should move to the left automaticly when closing one.
- Move to top function for header tasks.
- When a save dir (i.e. removable drive) is removed, ue works in "suspend save queue" mode. But ater attaching the save drive UE never starts saving.
- Import/export toolbar settings incl. assigned shortkeys. After a toolbar change which requires a toolbar reset I have to do this all manual.
- Define which columns I would like to see in newsgroups window. Maybe by right clicking a column header which shows a dropdownlist with all the possible colums (Name , lines, sizes, author etc.) with checkmarks which can be clicked to show or hide.

About the "autocreate directory option"
This would be a nice feature. But even better if (optional) you can choose not to create the directory but suggest before creating. Then it is possible to first remove some unwanted characters from the headername before creating the directory. Optional because other people may want the complete headername as directoryname (?).

And option to auto open this created directory in windows explorer. Then we can check the downloaded files.

Agree with most. About the tabs: I think it has been suggested before that it would be nice if you could close them by pressing the middle mousebutton. Also, instead of tabs disappearing, mayhaps you could consider to create a second row if the first one becomes to crowded. This is like Maxthon browser and Foobar mediaplayer behaviour.

One little thing I would like to add: you've got a very handy total size thing if I select the properties of some selected posts:

Selected posts: 39
Total parts: 7278
Available parts: 7278 (100%)
Parts with bodies: 0 (0%)
Size: 1.98 GB

Could you get that Size thing into the status bar? So if an user selects some posts, the total size is instantly displayed in the status bar?

Almost forgot: love the program
Astounishing we users can still find so many things that need to be changed/added in our point of view

I agree,

time remaining + mb (gb) remaining + total tasks remaining can be very useful to see in the status bar. Te remaining seconds indicator is only useful when time left is > 1 minute. I now see 8h30m03s. 8h30m should be enough info the next 8,5 hours ;-)
