Posting retries

Hi Alex and Gang

I have a quick question.. Rather the question is long but the answer is probably very short.
I don't do a lot of posting but yesterday (and today) I started to upload a DVD to a group. I use Giganews as my news server. and I have tasks set to 10 for this server (the max Giganews allows for my account) and I have max upload tasks set to 3.

Occationally I get an error from the giganews server saying:

502 (remote) exceeded maximum number of connections per user (server)

not a big deal as it has happened only 16 times out of the 2000 uploaded parts thus far.

So here is the question. Does UE automatically try and re-upload the failed parts.

I realize this is not a big deal as I am posting pars as well so the archive can be repaired. Just curious. Thanks Guys

the main thing don't cancel the post, as long as it has been cancelled its state is lost.

if the post is still there (then it is also in the task manager) when you open the article you'll see "retry" instead of "post" and you also can invoke "retry" from the error or posts panes context menu in the task manager (in the latter case while it is still posting but you see some errors).

it also remembers the post state between sessions.

Thanks Alex. I will try that once the post finishes. (Its about to 3000 of 5000 now)
