Age is wrong after my computer crashed

Post by jd »

The system I have running UE running on crashed (not UE related). After restart UE recovered and downloaded the rest of my queued stuff. However, now the messages have the wrong age. For example I get new headers and these new messages are now 61/62 days old... any quick way I can fix that? I can only assume something in the database got belly up.

I assume you checked your computer time not to be wrong?

You could (temporarily) change the age display into date display.
That way you can see whether someting is wrong with the database, or whether the problem has an other origin.

You can use the [show age/date] button on you toolbar to switch (man with grey beard and clock).

I'm an idiot :)
It seems the date somehow got screwed up, strange it should set automatically due to Domain login.

All is well now ....

Edit: Ot not. Yikes. Just to be sure, I resetted the headers and initiated a redownload. The date on that machine is correct, but still the age is wrong. New posts are 66 days old. When I switch to the date posted view, it's all correct.... something got screwed up, any idea how to fix that?
