incomplete files not saving...

hi i tried downloading quake 3 and the utilites disk that was posted and both came incomplete. anyway for quake 3, i just "disabled autosupport for partial messages", downloaded the files and used the "find parts and save attachements" to put them together and used the provides pars to reassemble the image and it worked fine. now i tried doing the same thing with the utilites disk and for some reason its not saving. the first time i tried it saved them as 88KB files(the originals were about 15mb) so i deleted them and tried again but this time it didn't save anything at all. newspro looks like its saving them(the saving box pops up like its working) but it doesn't same them at all and it doesn't delete the headers after it's done(like i told it to when it asks). anyone know why it could be doing this?

it might be corrupted posts or also very likely firewall or something else on your computer hooked to winsock corrupting incoming data.

if it cannot be firewall (you may try to uninstall it temporarily, delete bodies if a partial that isn't saved and try to download again) let me where i can find the files and i'll check what is the problem.
