Does UE Support SSL Connections

you need to use stunnel, it is pretty good i think there was a thread about it not so long time ago.

i could add it in principle for about two years was working with ssl source code (not for newsreader).

Yeah. I'm trying stunnel at the moment on my Linux box that sits between Windoze and my cable connection, but it seems very flakey. If I limit UE to a single connection, then it all seems to works OK. But if I try more connections, I get Segmentation Faults. Sometimes immediately, sometimes after a many minutes. I'll investigate more and try asking some questions on the stunnel board.

it shouldn't crash at all since it is a simple wrap around a very reliable library, you can run it on your windows machine as well, it doesn't eat much resources.

Looks like it's the 4.10 version of stunnel that's the problem. Going back to 4.9 is much more stable.
