Currently, importing an NZB results in collections being named according to the post's subject. Quite frequently, for example foreign films posted by foreign (to me) posters, will have subjects that really don't help distinguish what is what when several NZB's are imported at once. (We've all experienced the big mess that is a.b.boneless and similar groups.) In these cases I'd have to either text edit the NZB's to find out which files relate to which posts so that I can name the download directory to something I'll not have to guess at in the future. I can get NZB's that save with a filename that correctly describes the contents but this gets lost through UE's processing.
My request is for the option to have collections named after the NZB they articles are imported from.
I really won't leave it up to chance to let UE auto name directories which is why I've never used Download & Save (Auto). If each collection would be named after the corresponding (correctly named) NZB then I think I would use this feature.
Cosmetic request regarding collections
Or maybe optionally prompt to enter a name for a collection upon import?

I'm thinking maybe a button you can place on the toolbar to switch between NZB name to one auto generated by the subject. Like the button to switch between day/dates of a post and the post age. Having to click a button that asks you if you think the collection name is to your liking may become awkward after a while if you queue up lots of NZBs. Surely UE could handle keeping the name of the NZB attached to each collection - after all, UE auto generates the name from the subject line anyway so it's only really one more piece of information to store and most people probably don't queue up enough NZBs to make the extra storage a burden.
I think sometimes nzb are also misnamed, I'm not sure probably it was and maybe is the case with newzbin, they had some numerical names.
So the question is whether adding an option how to name custom collection is justified.
But if it is a rare issue, maybe you can just use the context menu option custom collections->rename collection

The new version of NewzBin (v3.newzbin.com) has an option to automatically name NZBs after the title of the post, therefore every NZB is named correctly. An example is that by downloading this, you would be presented with an NZB named 'Transformers (2007) (2 CD).nzb'. Pretty much every post in NewzBin has the title correctly identified so then the NZB name would also be correct. You no longer have to deal with the numbering with the format msgid_numbers_post_title.nzb.
Even in this case with the older format, there would still be the title within the name which isn't always (actually quite frequently not) contained in the subject itself. In the example above, you would be faced with wondering what UE's guess of 'NZB: www.binaries4ever.net "20th-transfoxvid1"' was meant to indicate. This is especially difficult if you download several NZB's and then don't immediately set about downloading and sorting them.

Will do - I'll just bump this topic at a later date.
The problem is that I can never really know when is a good time to bring up a subject. I knew you were working on PAR/RAR support but if I didn't mention this now then I might have forgotten myself, though that would be unlikely given the nature of this request. Also, I was fishing to see if any others would support this idea but it seems I'm about the only one so far thinking this would be a worthwhile addition. Hopefully it's just a short amount of work to add it, though, so we'll see in the future.
