Paused - How to Tell?

Is there a easy or obvious way to Tell that usenet explorer is currently Paused?

I'm a newbie here. I usually use the Menu via Task ---> Pause/slow down network task. Sometimes I use the first menu option, sometimes I'll use the second and Pause for 5 minutes or so.

I see down at the very bottom of the screen a Bandwidth indicator message. But with my internet provider (3rd World country, not reliable) just because the bandwidth is close to 0 -- doesn't always mean that I've asked for a Pause. So is there an Easy or Obvious way for me to tell that Usenet Explorer has been Paused? Thanks in Advance. Robert

I know of only two places the Task->Pause/Suspend menu's and the Toolbar buttons.

it is also in the system tray menu, you can see there if the button is pressed as well.

to avoid problems - you can use the pause for x minutes option, if you click the small downward arrow you'll see different possible values. the pause option is not persistent, if you restart UE it won't be in the paused mode.

Thanks for the help. Now (but not before) I realize that when it is Paused -- a Box is drawn around the button, and it is clearly visible. I had looked at it before, but just had not noticed the difference. Its the box. I had just missed it before, but I see it now. Robert

it is gui library, in principle i could show menus in the standard way then there would be no icon, just check mark instead, the gui library replaced it with the version when icons are pressed or not pressed to show the check status.
