I have two questions about the posting interface and Usenet Explorer, I read que manual and could not find the answer.
1) What does the "Props" button?
2) What does the "Clone" button?
And regarding downloads, if I select 500 attachments to be downloaded and my computer crashes (we have electricity cuts in my country), and then I restart the computer, will Usenet explorer keep downloading the posts I selected or will I need to reselect again? (Same situation for posting, ie I am posting 2000 binaries and computer crashes at post 1211)
Thank you
Usenet Explorer posting interface question
Re: Usenet Explorer posting interface question
Props means opening edit menu->properties->post
Clone means create identical post (a duplicate), the old post is still preserved.
To save tasks edit menu->properties->general->save queue every x minutes, or when you mark for download something big invoke ctrl+s (file menu->save all).
But it is a good idea to have UPS as well with EMI filter, hard drives I think protected from outage, but there also peaks (e.g. because of lightning) which may get through and kill power supply or fry something on motherboard.
