Independent Workspace Groups

Hi, Alex

Here's the current behavior:

I will download the same headers and bodies into two separate, uniquely named workspace groups.

The second group's download request recognizes that the same headers and bodies were already downloaded and appear (without downloading) in the second group.

When I delete / purge from the second group, the bodies are deleted from the first one as well.

Can I configure UE to allow me to download the same headers and bodies into separate groups (two separate downloads) and delete from one without affecting the other?

Hi Vince,

There is no other way to keep several copies of article bodies, unless you run several UE instances.
You can copy settings and run several UE databases in different directories by creating a shortcut:

Running multiple instances

To run multiple instances just use the database directory as the program launch parameter, e.g. create a shortcut
and add the database path to the target edit control (when there are spaces inside the path enclose it in double quotes).
