Recently, I've been receiving error message
501 Unknown Command XOVER 10609873-11024910
I've been in contact with their customer support department, and they say they haven't had any other complaints. So I thought I'd drop a msg here and see if anyone has had any similar errors. I haven't changed any settings, and it just suddenly happened about a week ago. My local news server still works fine, roadrunner.
Any ideas? Unknown command error would be coming from their end imo.
ultrafeeds error 501
I got another complaint about ultrafeeds from another user (not from us) on June, 3, he sent me screenshots, also XPAT doesn't work there (the same error message).
I asked him to contact their support, I guess he did.
I've just thought maybe you try to reset the newsgroup for the server, in case they reset the article numbering, maybe the error means something else. If it doesn't help try to reduce the number of header tasks to 1 and check whether it helps, it is some this specific server issue so it is quite difficult to say what it could be.

After this, things seemed to work, I'm glad it wasn't the fault of the program.

probably the server has the following bug: when a program uses xhdr when it is disabled the server sets some error condition which wrongly affects subsequent "enabled" commands within the same connection. i emailed them, probably they will resolve it with the server developers (but anyway it is not a good idea to switch off xhdr, also if it is the case the developers even didn't check the server workings with xhdr disabled since the option doesn't make much sense).
