To what extent does NewPro support scripting?

What I'm trying to do is continue getting headers and downloading files remotely through some sort of web or email interface. I want to be able to do is get new headers and download/queue article bodies.

Is this possible?

you can automatically mark certain articles for download setting filters in properties->watch/auto pane, there is no support for downloading through a web interface or email since it is not a standard protocol and up to the usenet provider how to implement it, you need to find/write a proxy which would handle it.

I guess I was a bit vague on the email/web thing. I'm trying to write something to do that (in php), and I was wondering if newspro can dump a list of all newly obtained headers, which I could then parse. And as for the article downloading via filters, is there some external way to create a filter without using the newspro interface.

BTW: forgot to mention this in the first post. Newspro is by far the best newsreader that I've used. Thanks for all your hard work.
