I use it every time I save something into a directory.
But the name "copy" may not represent enough what it does I think.
If you name it "copy header name to clipboard" people may notice easier they can use it to give a save folder the name of the header just copied to the clipboard.

Menu item "copy"
I'd also like a tweak to the Copy function. For instance, I want to download something and it has a long name. Instead of typing the whole name myself manually, I just copy the article, select all in the series and download & save - pasting into a New Folder item the contents of the clipboard. Now, this copies everything when all I need is the subject line. I don't want a directory with names, dates, article IDs, etc. - just the subject.
In NP there was the option of copying each part of an article's info separately (CTRL+C for subject alone). I realise it's just me being lazy having to edit each save directory everytime I go to save something but when you have a lot of things to download, naming all those save directories can become tedious.
So if we had the old NP way of copying it would help solve the 'Copy' not being descriptive enough because you'd have 'Copy subject', 'Copy author', 'Copy message-id', and so on, all of which would be much more self-explanatory.

I know what you mean. Maybe it is done this way to minimize the number of menu items. Newspro had a separate copy subject and copy author function. UE copies the whole subject line at once.
I use a macro programm which extracts only the info i need, sometime it is author but mostly the subject is enough. Especially to create a directory name.
