I have set some Watch/Auto tasks that work most of the time,
but somehow, at some point, something happened (I assume it was with the newsgroup) and the watch/auto filters stopped working for that newsgroup
I see the NewsGroup in red as well as its filters in the lower pane of the Watch/auto tab.
If I delete the filters and add them again, they work.
any ideas as to what the red means? if there was an error DL headers, it should not stop everything from there on should it? I don't even know what happen because there is no msg for that (other than regular connection errors, wich don't stop the filters)
Thanks
Watch/Auto i red when there is an error???
the red color means newspro cannot open the filter file, e.g. file is missing or locked somehow (opened by other application with no sharing) or the file contains garbage.
open the filters in the filter editor to see they contain valid data.
try to restart the system and check the disk for errors if these are valid filters.

Filter Errors
The filters work fine, I mean, they are valid.
There are not disk errors either. and the only application that might be locking the filters would be NewsPro. Can that be it? it is still using the filter when it tries to use it again?
Restart the system: Well, I can restart the system once I come back and see tha nothing was DLed from a specific newsgroup, but the idea is that it works and Downloads the stuff overnight right?
Thanks
