download problem

Currently i'm trying Usenet explorer.
Some files (not all) i don't manage to download.
The (for me) strange things happen that they are pending with for example 94 % complete. If i give them a retry in the taskmanager the completion goes up and it looks like the file is actualy being downloaded. But at 99 % the completion drops back to 94 % and the file goes in pending state again.
I have no problem downloading the same files with Grabit.

Do you have Properties->Articles->Detect yEnc errors and/or Properties->Articles->Abort download when significant lines misreporting checked?

If so uncheck them and retry. If you have PAR/PAR2 files to fix any corrupt files then all will be fine. The problem will generally be because of the poster using buggy posting software, usually PowerPost.

Great,
this did the trick.
With the suggested settings I managed to download the files.
And these files needed a repair with PAR2.
